The Telegraph: British troops to hand over security of former Taliban stronghold Nad ‘Ali

British troops will hand over security control of a former Taliban stronghold in Helmand to Afghan forces, Hamid Karzai will announce imminently, The Daily Telegraph can disclose, writes Thomas Harding from Nad ‘ Ali.

The Nad ‘Ali district will be first southern Afghanistan rural area in which the Afghan army and police will take the lead in policing.

    A positive notice and inititative, that may conduct to a new step on the peace’s process.
    A Afghan forces training by british troops will improve the Afghan forces indipendence and done the possibility of a border and land patrol, other that the democracy consolidation.
    An ufficial act posed ond by Hamid Karzai confer an ulterior legitimation to this important step.

    cuanto esfuerzo y sacrificio le han puesto las tropas a esa zona,cuanta sangre ,sudor y lagrimas, saludos a todas las tropas que alli actuaron.
