The Telegraph: Army padre wins gallantry award for service in Helmand

A padre has won a gallantry award after accompanying soldiers on front line patrols armed only with his shepherd’s crook and a combat bible.

The Army Chaplain patrolled alongside troops on foot and in vehicles for more than 30 days and was attacked by insurgents on several occasions as he tended the “spiritual needs” of the troops.

    When God is present by his minitry the peace is on us.
    The Army Chaplain who, for a time of 30 days has done security, peace and the god words to soldiers on front has all our honors and thanks.
    God will thanks him.
