BBC News: Taliban chief linked to Chinook crash killed, says NATO

NATO says it has killed the Taliban commander targeted in an operation last month in which 38 US and Afghan troops died in a helicopter crash.

Qari Tahir was killed in an air strike in Wardak province, central Afghanistan, a statement said.

Thirty US soldiers, mostly special forces, were among those who died when the Chinook was shot down in Wardak.

    War is war and, when a terroristic organizaton has killed more members of US and Afghan troops, the answer should not be other than that posed on, e.g. the kill of taliban commander of the above operation.
    This has done more surety to troops.
