Reuters: Decade after 9/11, Afghans languish in Pakistan

When Ghulum Nabi’s father heard US-backed troops toppled Afghanistan’s Taliban after the September 11, 2001, attacks, he rushed to their family home in an Afghan refugee camp in Pakistan to spread the news.

Perhaps, one day they could all return to a peaceful and prosperous Afghanistan supported by a Western superpower.

    A hard situation of life in Pakistan as refugee, a situation of instability and a big hope: to may live in a new Afghanistan nation, that is their nation, on peace and with a possibility of a dignitous life.
    We must made concrete this hope, done the nation to Afghans on Pakistan, a concretely free country where they and their soon may life with human dignity.
