The drawdown of American and coalition troops in Afghanistan has registered immediate effects on the country’s security and economic fronts, writes Hasan Khan in Pakistan’s Dawn newspaper.

Not only have property prices come down in Kabul and other cities, targeted killings and violent attacks have also increased.

    A logic consequence at the end of any war: price that come down, violent attacks.
    The situation will be the same on the future without a period where the democratic institution, the law respect, a natural respect of rights of others will be consolidate. It is the phase of a war of construction, a war of consolidation of results obtained and of defences of population, a war for the construction of a people where several ethnies live on peace.
    the difficult is now, but we live the difficult.
