British Forces News: Officer training academy to be built in Afghanistan

September 1, 2011

After months of planning, the location for Afghanistan’s new ‘Sandhurst in the Sand’ has been approved outside Kabul. The country’s own officer training academy will cost up to £25m, training more than a thousand officers every year. It will also be one of Britain’s main commitments to the country beyond the draw down in 2014.

It is the right decision and, ever if costs may be elevated, this costa have the finality to form, by training, Afghan officers.
The location consent the “monitorage” also IRAQ situation and control war to terrorism’s organization.
    My total solidarity Claudio Alpaca

Has this money come from the budget saved but cutting so many jobs in the armed forces?!

We are reducing the protection of our own country yet happy to put that much into another, can someone explain how this works please?
