45 Cdo reassurance patrol protect Sayedabad after attack

April 20, 2011

Royal Marines in Afghanistan have been working hard to reassure locals, after the relatively peaceful village of Sayedabad was rocked by gunfire recently.

Yesterday, we ran the story of X-Ray Coy, 45 Cdo as they patrolled around Sayedabad with Charlotte Cross and Tristan Nicholls of BFBS. In this second report Tristan Nichols joins X-Ray company on a further patrol around the same area as the soldiers aim to calm local nerves after a flurry of Insurgent activity.
