Video message from Task Force Helmand – 2

April 2, 2011

Further to the story posted yesterday, Captain ‘Baz’ Barrett is a member of 29 Commando Royal Artillery, Royal Marines and is also new in theatre for the start of Op HERRICK 14 as part of 3 Commando Brigade.

Baz arrived a couple of weeks ago and, like Lt Col Stovin-Bradford, recorded this message, sharing his initial thoughts and experiences of the journey into Afghanistan; the Reception, Staging and Onward Integration (RSOI) training package at Camp Bastion, as well as delivering a message on behalf of the guys and girls out here. Baz also took the opportunity to send a more personal message to his family and one to all the ‘WAGS’ back home.
