Video message from Task Force Helmand

April 1, 2011

The transition from Op HERRICK 13 to HERRICK 14 continues at a pace with 16 Air Assault Brigade being replaced by 3 Commando Brigade. As the Relief in Place (RiP) continues, Lieutanant Colonel Stovin-Bradford, Commanding Officer of 30 Commando (Information Exploitation) Group Royal Marines, took time out of his hectic work-up to record a video message of the journey to Afghanistan, his time at Camp Bastion and the training he received there. Lt Col Stovin-Bradford also reflects on what the troops are up to, the food and morale in general.
