FOB Life

March 31, 2011

Op HERRICK images are more often than not taken showing life ‘outside the wire’ so we thought it was time to give a small insight to what the soldiers of 3 PARA call ‘home’ for 6 months.

The Op HERRICK 14 Combat Camera Team recently visited Forward Operating Base (FOB) Shahzad in Helmand Province and recorded images of day-to-day life around the unit.

Thank you CCT for giving us a glimpse into the life on the FOBs…..though this is one of the more comfortable ones! Lets folks back home see how our lads and lads are surviving against the odds….. and that ‘Zanussi’ is AWOL in the sandpit!….well done that man for managing to get such a head of foam in the washing bowl:0)
So proud of you all…take care….keep safe….not long to push now!:0)
    God Bless
