VIDEO of the Day: Infantry Branch School, Kabul.

February 15, 2011

“I personally think that the training that we’re doing at this stage of the game in HERRICK 13 and in the future, the ANA, should be, in my opinion, ready to take over.”

In this video by the Combat Camera Team (CCT), British Army Instructors of the Infantry Branch School in Kabul explain the training and skills the Afghan National Army (ANA) will gain; including compound clearance, as demonstrated. The aim of this 8-week course is to develop Officers and soldiers of the ANA with a view to “professionalising the Afghan Infantry” in order to one day “take over the security of this country.”
