Captain Joanna Lowe of the Royal Army Veterinary Corps (RAVC) has featured on this site on a number of occasions; Jo also writes a blog, documenting her thoughts, feelings and experiences during her time in theatre.

Captain Lowe is part of a Veterinary Teaching Initiative in Lashkar Gah and her continual good work is now being recognised by a wider audience, with her story being published by the Kabul-based Bakhtar News Agency.
